The Band
The Roger Creager Band
Matt Baker / Lead Guitar
"The Rookie"
I've always felt that music plays me and not the other way around. I've been compelled to learn the guitar for many years and so far it has never dwindled out.

Troy Brown / Piano
"T-Roy"
Originaly from Oregon, Troy brought his talents to Texas in 1991. Honkey-Tonk Piano is what he does best. Playing in a genre of music thats is traditionally guitar driven, Troy brings respect to the lost art of Piano Pounding.

Kirby Standley / Tour Manager
"Kirb-Dog"
Star Pitcher in College, great Career as an Accountant, now living the High Life as the Tour Manager who has it all. Kirby is the busiest guy on our team. His job starts on Sunday Morning and just never ends. He makes life easier for us, and looks out for the band 24/7. Kirb is the "Go To" the "Go Between" and the "Can we get going, and just have Roger meet us there" guy.
Chris Leal / Merchandising Manager
"We Need a Nickname for the Guy"
Chris is the hardest working, hardest driving, busiest Merchandise guy in the world. He logs more miles than the band does, stays later at the gigs, and is up just about the time the band is going to bed. Thats dedication. He also is a heck of a guy.

Former Member / Scott Owen
"Karate Scotty"
Scotty was The original member of the Roger Creager band. From "East Texas", Roger met Scotty through the A&M Musicians Society. Scotty and his influence can be heard on both of Roger's CD's. After touring for many years, Scotty decided to settle down. He married a great girl and moved to Dallas to finish his degree. Scotty is currently playing part-time with Owen Temple, so you can catch the Master at Work at most all the Owen shows.

Former Member / Joel Schoepf
"Hippie" or the "Swoop In-Swoop Out Guy"
Joel comes from the greater Metropolis of Tomball. A Devotee of Music most people can barely stand to listen to, Joel's passion for music is unheralded. After enduring years of abuse and mistreatment by the Roger Creager Band, Joel moved on to brighter lights and bigger cities with Jack Ingram. You can find Joel at any one of Jack Ingrams shows, just follow the scent of Petuli Oil wafting in the breeze. Peace Hippie.

Former Member / Benny Pena
"The Ben Man"
Benny just showed up one day and said he wanted to play with us. He was WAY larger than Roger so he got the job. Just joking. Benny served as a Marine during the original Gulf War. After getting back to the states he decided to finish his college career at Texas A&M. Instead, he started playing in the Chris Wells band along with Troy Brown, Matt Medearis, Brett Danaher, Mike Friedel, and Bill Beason. After Chris went to Nashville, Benny joined Roger and the rest is history. Benny finally came to his senses and went back to school, where we have recently learned that he has been accepted into Opthomology School. Congratz Man, and good luck to you "and your patients!" in the future.
